SLSPC Launches Core Values Framework and New ERP System to Drive Strategic and Digital Transformation

The Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation (SLSPC) has introduced a new Core Values Framework alongside the launch of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, marking a major step in its organizational, operational, and digital transformation journey in line with the new government’s national digital transformation agenda.

An awareness, engagement, and system launch program was successfully held on 19 January 2026 at Panvila Estate, Kandy, with the participation of the Board of Directors, senior management, estate management teams, and operational staff. The program emphasized embedding the core values of Sustainability, Market Awareness, Agility, Resilience, and Transparency across all levels of the organization while leveraging digital tools to enhance performance and accountability.

Speaking at the event, SLSPC Chairman Eng. Dr. Sisira Ranatunga stated that the newly launched ERP system will play a critical role in strengthening estate planning, operations, finance, and resource management. He noted that the system has been implemented as a pilot project within a very short period of time, demonstrating SLSPC’s agility and readiness for change.

The Chairman extended his sincere appreciation to AgriGen CEO and his team for their commitment, technical expertise, and rapid implementation of the ERP pilot. He further highlighted that the system will be progressively strengthened with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support predictive analytics across the entire estate management process, including productivity, cost optimization, resource allocation, and risk management.

The Chairman also acknowledged the strategic leadership of Eng. Gamini Nanda Gunawardena and his volunteer team, the Board Members, General Manager, Cluster and Estate Managers, Superintendents, and Administrative Officers. Special recognition was given to the female for their active involvement, commitment, and engagement throughout the full-day program.

SLSPC reaffirmed its commitment to continuing this transformation process, reshaping its organizational culture, and positioning the corporation as a model State-Owned Enterprise, aligned with Industry 5.0, sustainability goals, and data-driven decision-making.
