Chairman Commends Progress at Kallabokka Estate Following Official Visit

During an official visit to the Kallabokka Estate and Factory on 2nd February 2026, the Chairman expressed strong appreciation for the notable progress achieved in both field and factory operations. Significant improvements in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), the clearing and rehabilitation of previously neglected fields, and the expansion of productive tea-bearing areas were observed.

The Chairman also noted the enhancement in the quality of green leaf supplied to the factory, which has contributed to an increase in the average sales prices of made tea — a positive indicator of the estate’s growing operational excellence and market competitiveness.

Emphasizing the importance of sustaining this momentum, the Chairman highlighted that the implementation of the ERP system is the forward pathway to strengthening digital transformation, improving efficiency, and ensuring better operational governance.

The progress at Kallabokka Estate reflects a strong commitment to performance improvement, quality enhancement, and sustainable value creation for the plantation sector.
